Research Interests and Goals

    Our group is currently doing research on perovskite-based single-junction and tandem solar cells, as well as other applications like light-emitting diodes, and photodetectors. Our research projects are aimed at real-world applications of optoelectronic devices for commercialization. Besides, we also focus on a fundamental scientific approach involving sophisticated characterization, advanced modeling, Materials Sciences, novel manufacturing methods, and device design. Our latest results are always posted promptly on the publications page.

Our specific research topics are listed below:

     1.Perovskite-based tandem solar cells (Perovskite-Silicon, All-Perovskite, Perovskite-OPV)

     2.High-throughput scalable manufacturing of perovskite modules and tandem modules

     3.Device physics in optoelectronic devices and their characterizations

     4.Photovoltaic applications: Floating solar desalination and Solar hydrogen generation
